1. What is the minimum that I can order per item?

funkifabrics is dedicated to making quality stretch fabrics that are accessible to everyone, no matter how large or small a quantity you need. Therefore, our typical minimum order requirement is just 0.5metres, with increments of 0.25m thereafter, ensuring that you can get just the right amount of fabric to suit your needs. An exception does apply to our Non Regular Printed Fabric Range, where the minimum is 5mtrs. The price of our Non Regular Printed Fabric Range is just £8.00 per mtr (standard print price per mtr £18.00) in reflection of the slightly higher minimum order requirement of 5mtrs.

2. Do you supply large quantities?

funkifabrics can supply you with large quantities of our Lycra fabrics. For order exceeding 20mtrs please contact us on 0161 975 5942 to discuss. For regular large orders of 20mtrs plus it may be beneficial for you to apply for a wholesale account with our parent company, www.friedmans.co.uk. Contact Friedmans on 0161 975 9002 to discuss your needs in more detail.

3. How can I pay for my order?

We accept credit and debit card payments in pounds sterling. Your credit/debit card company will convert the transaction to your own currency if outside of the UK. Whilst prices can be viewed in alternative currencies to GBP i.e. US Dollars and Euros, the figures are only a guide.

4. Do you deliver internationally?

5. What base fabrics do you print on?

We can print on a range of base fabrics including our polyester lycra, Flexcite, and our heavier weight technical fabric Titan which is ideal for high intensity sports activity. For a dedicated small collection of designs we can also print onto stretch net. More print base options are available from our parent company www.friedmans.co.uk for wholesale orders of 20mtrs plus.

6. How soon will I receive my order?

We deliver your order as soon as possible, normally we send your order to you within 2 - 4 business (Monday-Friday) days. As the majority of our printed fabrics are made to order they are unavailable for same-day dispatch. Our plain fabrics are available from stock and are available for same day dispatch if we receive your order before 12 midday Monday - Friday. 7. I am interested in bespoke printing service, how can I find out more?

8. Can I view your fabrics in person?

funkifabrics is an online business, and we encourage all of our customers to utilise the site to order free samples, where you can receive fabrics of your choice delivered direct to your door. learn more about samples

9. I can't find the print I am looking for, I have entered the product code or name but no results can be found?

funkifabrics offer an extensive range of prints. Our library is forever growing as we introduce new and exciting designs all the time. To control the number of products displayed on our site and avoid overwelcoming our customers; we sometime remove less favoured prints and they are placed in an off line archive library. If you would like to purchase a design no longer being shown on our website please contact us to discuss your options.

10. Where can I see my discount?

After you have logged in to our website, the prices you will see will reflect the price you will pay i.e the RRP less any discount.

11. Do you offer samples?

Samples are available, we offer a maximum of 5 free samples per customer pre order. learn more about samples

12. What are the benefits of printing digitally and are there any drawbacks?

The vast majority of prints supplied by Funki Fabrics are produced digitally. This process produces beautifully clear prints with excellent depth of colour. When printing digitally, due to the way the colour is applied, there is always a possibility of fine lines or banding appearing in the print. Shading designs or areas of solid colour are particularly susceptible to this. Whilst every effort is made to provide line free prints we cannot guarantee that your print will be flawless every time. Refunds or reprints will only be offered on orders which we judge fall outside of a commercially acceptable quality given the nature of the process.

13. What is Flexcite?

Flexcite is a brand name we assign to our products to reassure our customers that whenever they see a Flexcite product they know that the product has passed the stringent quality checks performed by Friedmans Ltd & FunkiFabrics. We are proud of our reputation as premium quality fabric retailers and include in our product range fabrics from around the world including those from well know Italian suppliers. Only the best quality products are included in our product range.

14. What is Econyl?

Print base LIFE, made from Econyl is a available now from Friedman's for all print designs. Nylon waste from landfills and oceans around the world is transformed into ECONYL® regenerated nylon. It's exactly the same as brand new nylon and can be recycled, recreated and remoulded again and again. That means you can create new products and buy new products without having to use new resources.

15. Are fabrics suitable for Swimwear?

The print process we use is Digital sublimation, which offers good performance for swimwear. As each individual print will have a different result, we advise carrying out your own tests in advance.

The vast majority of the plain nylon solids we offer are swimwear fabrics, however as our range includes colours dyed specifically for us, not all colour recipes may be suitable for swimwear.

We are aware of many customers using our fabrics for swimwear. We specialise in stretch fabric for multiple end uses. We don't personally perform any in-house testing. Each Industry has their own performance requirements and we cannot test for every criterion; therefore, we offer sampling which means each individual can test fabrics (plain or processed) for their own individual requirements.

16. What if my fabric is out of stock?

If one of the items you have ordered is out of stock we will contact before sending out your order. When we contact you regarding out of stock items, you do have the option to cancel or arrange for your order to be sent in more than one shipment. Please note further postage charges may apply.

17. Returns and Refunds.

Returns cannot be considered on any items that have been cut or processed in any way. Where possible we would advise you to order a sample of your chosen fabric in advance of placing your order. The company only accepts claims by you that are based on a defect in quality or condition of a product or its failure to correspond with the description given in this online shop. Any such claim must be notified to the company within 7 days of purchase. In the event that a fault is accepted by the company the product will be replaced free of charge, subject to availability and provided the product has been returned in the same condition as sent and reasonably packed within 7 days. This does not affect your statutory rights.
